RoomCritic Instagram Gallery Feature | Take off to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
This week in the RoomCritic Instagram Gallery, we take you to Sardinia and the smart, budget QT Hotel Cagliari. Take a look through the hundreds of Instagram photos our friends a the hotel have shared of the property and the southern city of Cagliari.
Summer or Winter, Sardinia has everything. A rich history means there’s a wealth of culture to discover right across the island, or take to the quiet almost deserted countryside and explore the many rivers and mountains, they even have a ski resort in the Gennargentu area. However if you are anything like us at RoomCritic or the Sardinians themselves for that matter, you’ll head for any one of the island’s hundreds of beaches.
You can enjoy most sports on Sardinia with water sports of course being the most popular. The Alghero area is renowned for its underwater caves and grottoes and attracts many scuba divers. The northern coast of Costa Smeralda is one of the ‘hot spots’ of the Italian show-business jet set, and one of the most popular areas for sailing.
Hiring a car is the best way to get around Sardinia, and it will allow you to visit some of the more remote and enchanting places and areas. Travelling by bus and train is possible, but it will limit how fast you travel and where you go.
The family run, QT Hotel Cagliari reopened its doors in May 2011, it now boasts 125 rooms all with free wi-fi, outdoor pool and tennis courts. We love the look of their newly renovated suites.
If you have any questions about travelling to Sardinia contact the super friendly staff at QT Hotel Cagliari they are super friendly and will be more than happy to help.
