Creative collaboration is the secret to the unique aesthetic of the Ace Hotel group.

Creative collaboration is the secret to the unique aesthetic of the Ace Hotel group.

The award winning design and marketing at The Ace Hotel New York, The Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs, The Ace Hotel Portland and The Ace Hotel Seattle is done by the creative people from Atelier Ace, The Ace Hotels’ in-house design studio in Portland.

The design and creative team for the Ace Hotel group understand the importance of creative collaboration as a way to push their creativity. Not only were the 4 hotels in The Ace Hotels Group, a collaboration of architecture, industrial and interior design, most of the 500+ rooms across the 4 properties have uniquely commissioned murals by artists local to each property.

The Ace Hotel design team have also teamed with other big name brands to create their own range of products from Incase bags to Polaroid film through the Impossible Project.

Ace Hotel co-founder Alex Calderwood discusses the unique design aesthetic of Ace Hotels.
