The heart and soul of Brazilian design at Hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro

The overall design of hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro was created by world renown French designer Philipe Stark. But the Brazilian design influence is where the true heart and soul of the hotel lives.

The hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro features 92 rooms, the panoramic views over Ipanema beach are breathtaking, however the key to Stark’s sophisticated, casual vibe are the simple materials and features of the design. Along with the cornerstones of the interior design – wood, glass and marble, Stark has given the hotel a uniquely Brazilian feeling by incorporating pieces by classic Brazilian designers of the 50′ and 60s – the golden age of Brazilian design.

The lobby features the furniture of Brazilian designer Sergio Rodrigues and Brazilian design studio Branco & Preto. We’re sure you’ll agree, you don’t need to be a design or hotel afficionado to enjoy this stunning hotel.
