Most people think luxury resort accommodation in the Maldives consists of only overwater bungalow villas, however every resort in the Maldives offer beach front villas that are equally beautiful, if staying over water is not an option.
Sure the Overwater bungalows in the Maldives are very popular for honeymooning and couples looking for a private retreat with the water at your doorstep. But for families looking for that memorable holiday of a lifetime, staying in an overwater bungalow is obviously not recommended with young children. However that doesn’t mean you need to find another destination. Most of the resorts dotted around the small Indian Ocean Atolls offer equally luxurious bungalow villas with stunning ocean views.
Here is our RoomCritic pick of 4 luxury beach front resort villas in the Maldives just as stunning as any of the overwater bungalows.
