With the recent addition of four Luxury Spa Suites and a tip from a previous Spicers Vineyards Estate Hotel staff member at Bimbadgen winery, we made a reservation. Spicers Vineyards Estate Hotel is located in the Hunter Valley approximately 2.5 hours drive north from Sydney, Australia.

When you open the double doors, the gorgeous ensuite is enhanced by ambient lighting, high ceilings and underfloor heating. The little touches didn’t go unnoticed – a teeny rubber duck on the ledge of the spa and the naturally scented organic Apelles amenities, some with a hint of vanilla bean. The luxury products are beautifully presented on a natural wood display to provide a polished touch.

Restaurant Botanica at Spicers Vineyards Estate Hotel Hunter Valley is highly acclaimed, we were told the chef enhances the seasonal menu by selecting the freshest produce and accompaniments from the local garden on the day. A three course dinner enticed the appetite with a complimentary canapé and delicate dishes that included tempura zucchini flowers, ocean trout and caramelised pork belly. Continue admiring the vineyards in the morning light over breakfast in the restaurant. Spicers’ touch on the original Vineyards breakfast included a modest buffet of cereals and a daily selection of fresh fruit and yoghurt, mini pastries and hot dishes all delivered to your table.
